"We took a chance on an outdated book that lead us to a broken bridge, through slimey water, along an overgrown thorny trail sprinkled with fresh bear droppings, followed with more trails populated by tiny spring peepers, all the while fighting off ravenous blood thirsty insects that may or may not having given us malaria - BUT following our internal compasses finally brought us to our pond, where we could rest and eat our lunches by the water.
